How secure is the PIN?

This PIN is only used on the kid’s device to lock the settings, it doesn’t protect any sensitive data.

The PIN is stored in plain text in private device storage, restricted to the app’s UID.  Physical access to the device and rooted device is required to extract it, so it’s secure to all but the most techy.
