Simple Setup

Video showing you how to install on an Android device
You need to install the Screen Time app on your child’s device and this allows it to monitor them and enforce restrictions. Then as a parent you can install the Screen Time app on your Android device to make changes to your child’s settings remotely, if you don’t have an Android device yourself then don’t worry because you can make these changes from almost any web browser as well using this link.

To see how to set up Screen Time then check out the short 3 minute video on the right of this page.

I can’t figure out how to get started. It says you can use just the child’s phone, but the child’s phone asks for a number off of the parent’s phone. My phone stops after the facebook login screen, so the instructional video is useless because it starts after the app is installed and functioning.

Hey Karen, the video goes through the entire process from before installation. But it sounds like you are having problems logging into the remote, which means you can’t access the QR code to install the app. Can you try logging into the remote through a different browser or through an incognito window please as sometimes extensions in the browser can cause login problem.

How do I download the child app. The link on tour page take me to the play store. He did a factory reset to remove it

Hey Nancy, you can download the app from the Play Store. When you install the app on your child’s device it should ask you if this is your child’s device or your (the parents) device, if you choose child’s device then you should be able to run through the setup.
