We have disabled the multi window/split screen feature on most Android devices because this feature can be used by kids to get around the Screen Time limits and use apps without being tracked.
Your child will still be able to use apps when they are allowed access to them, however if they try to use apps through a multi window then Screen Time will block whatever apps they are trying to use through that feature.
