Sometimes the daily limit bar at the bottom of the totals screens doesn’t refresh. Just go into the daily limits settings screen where you should see the changed settings. Also, check Screen Time settings screen on your child’s device. If you’re still seeing problems, try reconnecting the app.

I’ve updated my sons setting for the Google Search app (he’s running lollipop 5.1 on a Sprint branding Samsung S4) to be always blocked. This is extremely important to me. When I did an audit this morning of his Google account it showed he’d used the app to search a variety of subjects. I further checked the settings on the Screen Time app and it showed the app wasn’t blocked. I then updated the setting directly on the phone with my admin credentials then rebooted the phone. Unfortunately he’s still able to launch the Google Search app (blue G). i see the setting is confirmed the app is NOT on the “Available Apps” list.
i thought it was being blocked, but alas I can hold down the Android HOME button and the G shows for the Google Search. Please help
