Android
We only use the https port (443) for:
- screentimelabs.wpengine.com (website)
- screentimelabs.appspot.com (app)
- android.googleapis.com
- trk.kissmetrics.com (analysis).
However, we would suggest adding port 80 for those 2 hosts just in case.
For older versions of Android (<4.3) you may also need to allow port 5228 for push messaging to work correctly.
If you’re not sure what all of this talk about ports and HTTPS means then you can forward this information to your Internet Service Provider and ask them to open the ports for you.
Apple
The only time that the Apple app would be blocked by a firewall is when the device is blocked and the VPN turns on. Please allow the following domains and IP addresses through your firewall if you’re having problems with Screen Time.
