Why is there a passcode on my child’s device after installing?

When you install a profile on an Apple device you need to set up a passcode if you don’t already have one set up. Once set up there will be a passcode on the device to unlock it, this is something that we had to do in order to get Screen Time to block apps on Apple devices.
